Since our intense drive in to the city, Beijing has been great. The shopping here is the best yet, and once again a modern, fast, cheap and extensive metro has made getting around a piece of cake. With so much shopping, and loads of sights to see, we have already extended our stay here by three days!
Quick tip for those coming to Beijing - like Shanghai, the airport is a ways out of the city. If coming in late at night, factor another 30 minutes or so onto your arrival time from the aiport.
