Due to the graduation break, we split our travels into two parts. Here is the good, bad and ugly for part I:
Best Cities: Berlin, Budapest, Istanbul
Worst cities: Cairo, Alexandria, Bucharest, Brasov
Best Tourist Sights: Salt mines in Poland, Budapest at night, Petra in Jordan, Pyramids in Egypt
Worst sights: Memento park (Budapest), Ghost museum (Prague)
Memorable Experiences: Euroleague bball game in Turkey, floating in the Dead Sea
Memorable Experiences (we wish we didnt have): Turkish border at 3 am!
Places with the Best Food: Jordan, Germany, Turkey
Places where we did not like the food: Romania, Egypt
Pleasant Surprises: The shear beauty and number of enjoyable things to do in Budapest!
Unpleasant Surprises: 7 euro fountain pop in Berlin, the dirty train from Bulgaria to Turkey
Countries now on our short "will return list": Hungary and Turkey
