We are in Prague now, so here are our thoughts on Poland...
Best of: Vodka, perogies, weather
Worst of: Maps, corrupt travel info, paper towel toilet paper
Best meal: Leigh - Roasted perogies with brocolli and cheese filling
Jarret - Potato pancakes with goulash
Yes please: Roasted perogies, zapienaka (sp) pizza bread snacks, vodka even Leigh likes
No thanks: Backward ass maps, super sweet "dry" wines, paper towel toilet paper
Overall: Poland was good and we enjoyed ourselves. The food was good and it was fairly easy to get around. Poland would make a good add on to visiting another country, unless you come in the summer and can visit the Baltic, then it may warrant more time on its own. It was difficult to visit Poland and Germany without being affected by the war, or seeing many war sights. This was good though, it is an important part of our past.
As for the results of the perogies...we are officially dough people eating 34 perogies between us!

So How was the polish poutine ?
ReplyDeleteThe poutine was actually really good. No curds, but the sauce was bang on. Turns out the chef was from Canada!
