Well, we have had our first unplanned detour on the trip. Would you believe that it was more expensive for us to go to our planned city in Poland than to stay in Germany! All the hostels full, hotels charging a tonne = going to Dresden for a couple days before Warsaw.
Back to Berlin. What an amazing city. It was the coolest city we have ever been to. All the stuff you read about it being very liberal is true, very liberal. Great nightlife, good food, friendly people, good arts scene. It was awesome.
Three days left to vote on the mascot name, and so far Travey is in the lead. In the meantime, despite what we said earlier, the mascot is in this picture of a bar on the river somewhere...
