Forget New York, if you want a big city experience that has everything you can imagine and goes non stop 24/7, book yourself a flight to Hong Kong. Just be sure to find a room first. This city is flat out awesome. Food is everywhere, shopping is nearly 24 hours a day, the metro is super clean, quick and cheap. We were silly to think that 2 days here would be enough, and are so glad we stayed longer. It truly is a global city, one that we could both live in, if we could manage to get to bed before 3 am each night! It's not as easy as you think, even Travey found street parties to go to, although it looks like he could not pay the cover!Today we are off to the mainland for one night in Shenzhen before heading to Shanghai tomorrow. We are a little nervous over the language, as we have heard there is quite a barrier, but it should still be great.
Oh yeah, one more thing...no offense to anyone who has them, but genie pants with huge pockets where the crotch goes to your knees and the pants turn into tights from there down DO NOT LOOK GOOD! (says Jarret)
