Its raining cats and CATS!

One of the most surprising things we encountered in Istanbul was the number of cats. Cats are everywhere and none of the guidebooks said anything about them. They all look healthy like house cats and are of all ages and colours. They love people and are playful, even jumping in your lab at a restaurant. It seems like every business has at least one. I knew it was time to leave Istanbul after I nearly arranged to take home a kitten that I found in the park. The picture shown is me holding it. In fact, there were so many cats around that Travy did not feel safe being out much, being a guinea pig and all. Hence the lack of pictures of him here...for his own safety.
