Kind of weak title, but I'm tired and can't think of anything that rhymes with Nurnberg. Note to fellow travelers...avoid buying coffee at Starbucks at all costs...Jarret bought a latte today, and it was the worst and most expensive latte he has had since we arrived in Europe. If it wasn't for the free internet and clean bathrooms we would boycott!
Nurnberg is a good city...the old town is nice...lots of walking around, but nothing too far. Did an interesting tour of the cellars under the city dating back to 1500s and used for shelters during the war.
Food has been good here as well. The different picture is there to show this...a bottle of red wine, bottle of champagne, 1.5 litre of bubbly water, cucumber, pickle, hickory sticks and peanuts for 9 bucks, CDN! Who said Germany was pricey?? Oh, and before you look too hard, the mascot is not there, he/she won't be in another picture until we have a name. For more info on that see the post below.
Tomorrow off to Berlin. More to follow.
PS - There are now some pics from Brussels on the site.
Nurnberg,we are in a toy fair there every year. our second largest show. Never been to that one, always too busy working on the NY show.
