Hello all,
Finally we have arrived at our first destination after flying with a pilot who thought he was piloting an F-16: Brussels, Belgium. The weather is cool but comfortable and our hotel is just what we need. We have already tried a few Belgium beers and the frites. Two thumbs up for both. Now we are relaxing at a cafe using the net and drinking coffee and tea to try to stay awake and get over the time change! We already lost track of the day. Tomorrow we are going to explore the city and the next day taking a train to Brugge. For those of you who thought there was a lot of construction going on in Tdot - it pales in comparison to what is going on here. Everywhere people are working on stuff...maybe that could be the "catch" for the blog...construction around the world...then again, that sounds kinda lame.
